Many of our members find that they tend to retain some fluid during the week of their period and unfortunately this can show as a lack of weight loss or even a weight gain. However, the fluid retention is only temporary.

 

As long as you continue Food Optimizing, you should still lose some body fat during this time and this should show as an even greater weight loss the following week, once your fluid levels have returned to normal.
